A Facebook Reel can look sharp in the feed and soft after saving. Before you keep a copy, check the source, the frame shape, and whether you have permission to use it. The biggest quality mistake is choosing a large label without checking how the video was originally recorded.
Start with the public link
Open the Reel and confirm that the page loads without a private-account or login restriction. Copy the individual Reel link, not the profile or feed address. A public link still does not grant permission to repost someone else’s work, so keep the creator name with your file.
Check the picture before saving
Pause on a frame containing text or fine detail. Compare the preview with the saved result at the same phone size. A portrait Reel should remain portrait; stretching it into a landscape frame makes faces and products look distorted. If captions are close to an edge, inspect the top and bottom after saving.
Keep a useful copy
- Play the first and last few seconds.
- Check that audio is present and synced.
- Confirm the duration matches the source.
- Use a descriptive filename with the creator and date.
Use the Facebook video page for the public-link workflow. If a result is unavailable, use the creator’s approved file instead of bypassing access controls. For other platforms, see supported platforms.
Use Solution Hub
Paste a supported public link into the analyzer, review the formats detected from the source, and choose the option that fits your device. Solution Hub does not require an account for the basic link-analysis flow.
